Where to Eat

Even here in the country, you can find worldly cuisines such as Thai food and sushi, but our favorite local restaurants such as 85 Main, Bellas, and the Vanilla Bean Cafe use farm-fresh local produce and other homegrown food products whenever possible. Northeastern Connecticut offers a wide range of dining options, from family restaurants to award-winning fine dining establishments.
The Quiet Corner is proud to be home to Still River Cafe in Eastford, one of two Connecticut restaurants to be awarded top rating in a New York Times review! Gourmands from all over also travel here to dine at the Golden Lamb Buttery in Brooklyn and Sharpe Hill Vineyard in Pomfret... which offer unique ambiance in addition to great food.
